FAQ

What is your shipping policy?

All orders are currently shipped via USPS, and at this time can only be shipped domestically with the United States. I hope to be able to offer international shipping at a future date.

What is your return/exchange policy?

Returns and exchanges will only be given if there is an issue with the quality of craftsmanship of your product. Please make sure your sizing choices are correct, as returns will not be granted for incorrect fit.

When will I receive my order?

The short answer is, from 10 - 20 business days. I handcraft each Spectrum Threads jockstrap by hand. How soon I am able to craft your custom jockstrap(s) depends on how many orders I have in queue. If there will be a significant delay, I will reach out to you via email.

How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?

Reach out via the “Contact Us” page below, and I will see if I’m able to accommodate order changes. If an order is still “In Queue”, I should be able to accommodate. If the order is listed as “In Progress”, I have already begun creating your jocks, and changes will not be permitted.

Where are you located?

I create all of Spectrum Threads’ creations in Nashville, Tennessee.

How are your jocks made? Where do the materials come from?

I hand-select each print and fabric after testing them for stretch and eye-catching design. Once I’ve selected the material, I craft each pouch using my own personal serger and sewing machine with high-quality elastics. The waistband of each jockstrap is made with a soft-touch elastic for ultimate comfort, and the leg and pouch elastics are a non-rolling, braided elastic that provide great stretch, comfort, and lift to show off those assets. Each jockstrap is handcrafted by me, so I can check each for quality.

How do I order wholesale?

I am currently not accepting wholesale inquiries, as I want to make sure my business is sustainable first. With future growth, wholesale may be something I’m interested in to help support other growing LGBT businesses.

Do you have a physical store?

Currently, our operations are solely online via www.spectrumthreadsnashville.com

What does the future of your business look like?

My goal with Spectrum Threads is to celebrate men of all shapes, sizes, and colors, as we’re all on the sexy spectrum! While the beginning of the business is solely online, I do hope to expand my business in three ways: 1) to offer the work of other well-known designers who cater to the LGBT community, both online and in-person; 2) travel to LGBT destinations (resorts, campgrounds, and events) and offer products that are both made prior to the event, as well as crafting custom designs on-the-spot; and finally 3) open a brick-and-mortar location to move operations out of my home, and provide a custom-fitting experience for men from all around the world. My goal is to redesign the men’s underwear and fashion industry - bring it out of the dark, dingy, sexualized environment I’ve seen in many locations and provide a warm, welcoming, and customized experience for all of my customers. In my retail location, I hope to offer custom sizing and measurement services, as well as customer consultations to help men feel their sexiest. Women have been getting fitted for undergarments for years - why should men have to guess their size? Spectrum Threads looks to change that, and make waves in the men’s underwear and fashion industries.
